PUCP's internationalization policy is not only expressed through its bilateral relations but also through its joint participation in multilateral cooperation spaces offered by interuniversity associations. These spaces enable the identification of trends and best management practices that often transcend national borders.

How is PUCP's affiliation with these associations defined?

Affiliation can be established based on:

    • Common interests in matters related to university affairs.
    • International outreach initiatives at the regional or global level that support the above.
    • Shared confessional ties.

Asociación de Editoriales Universitarias de América Latina y el Caribe
(EULAC)

The EULAC's main objectives are: the integration of Latin American and Caribbean university publishers; the promotion of the production and distribution of university texts, periodical publications and all other printed materials for academic work; the technical and administrative improvement of university publishers; and the dissemination of academic thought to the community. PUCP participates in EULAC through its Publishing Fund.

Asociación de las Televisiones Educativas y Culturales Iberoamericanas (ATEI)

The ATEI was established as an educational, cultural and scientific communication network for the co-production, dissemination and exchange of audiovisual and multimedia content, within the framework of Ibero-American cooperation. The PUCP participates in the ATEI through its Academic Department of Communications.

Asociación Iberoamericana de Educación Superior a Distancia (AIESAD)

The AIESAD was established to facilitate information, cooperation and coordination of efforts of the member institutions through joint projects; to promote research and application of new methodologies and techniques in the field of distance higher education and facilitate their use by member institutions; to promote the training of teachers and technicians in the distance education modality; to encourage the development of joint courses and teaching materials, adapted to the specific needs of the Ibero-American countries. The PUCP participates in the AIESAD through its Faculty of Education.

Asociación Internacional de Universidades (AIU)

The AIU is a worldwide inter-university association whose main institutional themes are sustainable development, intercultural dialogue, internationalization and access to higher education.

Asociación Panamericana de Instituciones de Crédito Educativo (APICE)

APICE is made up of public and private entities that foster, promote, coordinate or administer educational credit programs, with the objective of offering financial alternatives that facilitate access to higher education for all people, especially the most academically capable. PUCP participates in APICE through its Educational Credit Office.

Asociación Universitaria Iberoamericana de Postgrado (AUIP)

AUIP is dedicated to promoting postgraduate and doctoral studies in Latin America. Its general objective is to contribute to the high-quality academic training at the postgraduate level of university professors, scientists and professionals, based on the development needs of the countries that comprise it. PUCP participates in AUIP through its Graduate School and is a member of the Association's Executive Committee.

Association of University Publishers of Latin America and the Caribbean (EULAC)

[Inglés] La EULAC tiene como objetivos fundamentales: la integración de las editoriales universitarias latinoamericanas y caribeñas; el fomento de la producción y distribución del texto universitario, las publicaciones periódicas y todos los demás materiales impresos del quehacer académico; el perfeccionamiento técnico y administrativo de las editoriales universitarias, y la difusión del pensamiento académico hacia la comunidad. La PUCP participa en la EULAC mediante su Fondo Editorial.

Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

The AACSB brings together universities and companies from various countries interested in developing and improving university teaching of business administration and management. The AACSB also operates as an international accreditation agency for business schools. PUCP participates in the AACSB through its CENTRUM Business School.

Business Association of Latin American Studies (BALAS)

BALAS is an association that brings together universities and other entities from American countries and Spain, which share an interest in promoting business opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean through training and research activities. PUCP participates in BALAS through its Business School - CENTRUM.

Centro Interuniversitario de Desarrollo (CINDA)

CINDA was founded in 1971, with PUCP as one of the three founding universities. Initially, its scope was Andean, in the 1980s it reached Latin American coverage and in the mid-1990s European universities were incorporated as members. In alliance with Quality Assurance International, CINDA has created the International Institute for Quality Assurance (IIAC), to offer services in the field of consulting, evaluation and certification of quality. In 2013, PUCP achieved institutional accreditation from IIAC. Since 2003, CINDA has promoted a student mobility program, whose operational coordination falls to PUCP. PUCP is a member of the CINDA Executive Committee.
