Discover Peru

Peru is undoubtedly one of the most attractive countries in Latin America. Its ecological and cultural diversity, stunning landscapes, the character of its people, historically rich cities, and precious archaeological monuments make Peru a unique country among the nations of the world. Located in the center of the west coast of South America, Peru offers an immense variety of landscapes and climates as a result of its geographical peculiarities. This was also the space where rich pre-Columbian civilizations developed, complex societies that achieved high levels of civilization in terms of architecture, textiles, ceramics, gold and silver work, and many other aspects. The city of Lima, founded in 1535, is the capital of Peru. It is located on the central coast of the region, along the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Lima is home to approximately 8 million people, where the past and present intertwine, and archaeological evidence of ancient civilizations is also part of this modern and cosmopolitan city.

Programs for undergraduate students

International exchange student

This program is aimed at students from universities with which we have student mobility agreements. To join PUCP, they must be selected and presented by their home university.

Students from universities with which we have a student mobility agreement can enroll at PUCP as exchange students, as long as they are selected and presented by their home university. These students will enjoy the benefits specified in each particular agreement.

The conditions, requirements, and application process are the same as for visiting students, but the documents must be sent directly by the home university.

International visiting student

This program is aimed at students from universities with which we do not have an agreement. In this program, the student must coordinate and pay for the credits directly with PUCP.

Visiting students are those students from universities that do not have a signed student exchange agreement with PUCP and, therefore, must pay for their studies. They can review the list of degree programs for more information about the available courses.
